Youth Natural Resource Program

Goal: To provide forestry and natural resource education to the youth of Stevens County. Support and provide a structured learning environment to bolster the natural resource programs in area high schools and allied 4-H programs.

Stevens County Commissioners allocated Title III funds to provide funding for a natural resource education program targeted towards county wide efforts for youth to receive forestry and other natural resource information.

WSU Stevens County Extension staff have collaborated with Stevens County Conservation District, government agencies, and private individuals to help each school district develop their program.
