Swine Project

Are you thinking about raising a pig this year?
Or may be you just want to increase your swine knowledge and improve your care and management practices.

4-H Swine Project can help you meet these goals
by providing hands-on learning about following
good swine health, nutrition, and handling
practices. You will also:

  • Learn about the relationship of food
    safety and animal well-being
  • Prevent drug residues
  • Ensure a wholesome pork product
  • Promote consumer confidence in the
swine animal well-being, and pork products

Check out Washington Pork Producers Winter 2008 Newsletter; a great resource for information about the latest news, upcoming events, and policies about swine.
